Release Note

Crosser Control Center

Release date: 2023-06-29

Node 2.6 Support

Control Center now supports the new Node version 2.6, see here for more information on the new Node. To use version 2.6 Nodes your Flows must be configured to use version 2.6, you change this on the Flow settings panel in the Flow Studio.

Note: New flows will be set to use Node version 2.6 by default. If you want to use your Flows on older Nodes you must change the default setting on the Flow settings panel in the Flow Studio.

Flow Annotations

You can now document your Flows by adding annotations to the canvas. An annotation is a text area that can be freely placed anywhere on the canvas. Markdown syntax is supported to style your comments.

You add annotations by using the new ‘Annotation’ button at the top of the canvas and then drag the annotation to the desired location. Annotations can be set to always show its content (pinned) or to only show the content when hovered over.

There is also a new Annotations panel on the right-hand side where you can manage all your annotations. The order of the annotations can be changed by changing the sequence number assigned to each annotation. It is also possible to temporarily hide all annotations.

FlowApp Categories

FlowApps have now got the same category concept as we use for Flows, to simplify finding relevant FlowApps. Search is also available for FlowApps. FlowApp categories are assigned by Crosser. User generated FlowApps will end up in the ‘Custom’ category.

Minor changes

  • The top-level menu has been simplified to better accommodate the way of working after the introduction of the new Flow Studio, where most of the day-to-day activities can be done from inside the Flow Studio. Pages have now been grouped in two main groups: ‘Monitor’ and ‘Manage’. The navigation panel along the left side of each page has been updated accordingly.

  • When adding modules to a Flow in the Flow Studio the latest version supported by the selected Node version is now used, instead of the latest available version.

  • Added support for compression of the body sent by Universal Connectors.

  • New setting for disabling queues in a Flow (only available with Node 2.6).

  • When selecting multiple modules in the Flow Studio they can now be deleted using the keyboard ‘Delete’ button.
